FRAME: The frame is carefully constructed from kiln-dried hardwood and high density particle board panels. This process of kiln drying removes all moisture from the wood, enabling it to retain its shape and stability to create a frame that lasts. Your hand-crafted furniture frame comes with a full ten-year structural guarantee.

SEAT: The seating base is manufactured using steel zig zag springs stretched to provide tension under a layer of 300gsm thermally bonded polyester wadding. The seats comfort comes directly from a generous depth of Reflex foam covered with a layer of 6oz Dacron adding softness. The seat is covered in fabric giving a fixed seat look, this provides a seating area that is supportive, with no cushion migration and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

UPHOLSTERED BACK REST & ARMS: The back is created using a base of elasticated upholstery webbing, covered with a generous depth of Reflex foam and 6oz Dacron resulting in a unique upholstered shape. The outsides are paid equal attention with a layer of ¾” Reflex foam under the fabric to continue our commitment to quality

SEAM DETAIL: The scatter cushions and outside edge of the upholstered bodywork seams are sewn creating a flanged look. The corners of the upholstered bodywork are a single stitch seam with a twin needled seam across the Chaise seat and inside corner of the Chaise back. This style of finish on furniture with such a degree of shaping highlights the exacting skill and attention to detail we strive for in our furniture.

If children, heavy usage or pets are a consideration, we recommend selecting one of our stain guard options. LEGS: A true statement of quality, Francis comes with its own unique leg design made specifically for this piece from powder coated mild steel. The legs are fitted with 2 bolts and 2 screws and are easily located and fitted at each corner of the sofa.
