FRAME: The frame is carefully constructed from kiln-dried hardwood, this process of kiln drying removes all moisture from the wood, enabling it to retain its shape and stability to create a frame that lasts. The frame joints get special attention, they are glued, stapled, and screwed, corners and seat rails are further strengthened by the addition of reinforcing blocks for increased support and strength. Your hand-crafted furniture frame comes with a full ten-year structural guarantee.

SEAT: The seating base is manufactured using interlaced, high resilient elastic webbing. The profile cut high density foam seats comfort comes directly from the very generous depth of Reflex foam, which has an additional softer top layer of Reflex foam to create the shape and provide further comfort, finally this is covered with a layer of 4oz Dacron directly under the fabric.

UPHOLSTERED BACK REST & ARMS: The back and arms are created using a solid ply construction, covered with a dense, shaped Reflex foam profile and Dacron resulting in a unique upholstered shape. The inside of the arms, back and outsides are paid equal attention with shaped foam, which is then covered with a 4oz Dacron under the fabric to continue our commitment to quality. The arm top, arm front and top back shape is constructed from a very high density semi circular profile cut foam.

SEAM DETAIL: The cushions and majority of the upholstered bodywork seams are embellished with a twin needled seam, this style of finish on furniture with such a degree of shaping highlights the exacting skill and attention to detail we strive for in our furniture.

FABRIC ADVICE:  In creating your own unique pieces you can either select one of ten designers recommended options or choose from a wider selection of over 90 premium and luxury fabrics. If children, heavy usage, or pets are a consideration, we recommend selecting one of our stain guard options. To help you make the perfect choice we will send up to 6 fabric samples to your door free of charge.

LEGS: A true statement of quality, Jasper comes with its own unique leg design made specifically for this piece from black powder coated mild steel.  The screw in legs are easily fitted and located at each side of the sofa. For maximum strength, the legs slide into the frame as a one piece side unit, giving the aesthetic of a delicate support, but in reality are extremely strong.
